On Wednesday 3rd April we held another funding accelerator workshop here in the Imagination Lab at Lancaster University.
The focus of our session was co-design and creative exchange – learning how to work with communities to create effective projects that have lasting impact. Leon demonstrated some of the Leapfrog tools which had been developed initially with community partners and the public sector and are now available to download under a Creative Commons license.
Working in groups our attendees created and then shared some intriguing projects, opening up their ideas for additional comments from everyone else which allowed for additional knowledge transfer – as a group the knowledge held was quite extensive. By creating a space for this knowledge to be exchanged we enabled additional potentials to be explored.
The final part of our session was asking for feedback on the workshops we had held, discovering what people wanted from future workshops, helping us shape the next phase of the Funding Accelerator.
