Research in the Real World

Announcing our next event – Research in the Real World, a workshop to connect academics and third sector organisations to benefit everyone.

We will be discussing the benefits of academics and third sectors forming project partnerships, exploring the different ways you can work together, and discovering the intersections of your research and real world issues in order to collaborate on exciting projects.

There will be a period of presentations and discussions followed by activities to encourage you to discover where research and real world intersects and form ideas for projects to take forward.

This is an initial event which will be followed up with workshops and support to help you write successful bids to fund your projects.

The Funding Accelerator project has already supported over 30 projects, with over £11 million of funding secured and more than £6 million still in development. Funding has been received from sources such as The National Lottery, Awards for All, The Arts Council and Innovate UK.

Refreshments will be provided, including lunch. Please register here.
